Microblading
Microblading is a semi permanent cosmetic procedure done to create long lasting, natural looking eyebrows using a handheld blade. By manually making hair-like strokes and placing pigment into the upper layers of the skin, we can create beautiful, realistic looking brows that will softly fade over time.
Powder Brows
Powder brows are created with a tattoo machine and recommended for anyone looking for a more filled in brow, similar to the look of eyebrow makeup. This look is also great for anyone who is not a good candidate for Microblading due to having previous permanent makeup, large pores, oily or aging skin.
Nano Brows
Nano brows are a great option for all skin types, especially anyone who is not a good candidate for microblading due to large pores, oily or aging skin. Nano brows combine the natural effect of microblading with thin, hair-like strokes, with the technique of powder brows in that we use a machine instead of a manual blade. Instead of creating tiny scratches, the machine creates hairstrokes with a pixelated effect, which can be much gentler on the above skin types. This leads to little to no bleeding and a great healed result.
F.A.Qs
What is the difference between Microblading, Powder Brows, and Nano Brows?
Microblading creates fine hair-like strokes using a manual tool for a very natural look. Powder brows use a machine to create a soft, filled-in makeup effect. Nano brows combine hair strokes with machine precision, making them suitable for more skin types and often longer lasting.
How long do PMU brows last?
Permanent makeup brows typically last between 1 to 3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. A touch-up is usually recommended every 12 to 18 months to maintain the color and shape.
Does the procedure hurt?
Most clients experience minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure to keep you comfortable.
Who is a good candidate for permanent makeup brows?
Most people are good candidates for PMU brows. However, factors such as very oily skin, certain skin conditions, previous permanent makeup, or medical conditions may influence which technique is best for you. A consultation helps determine the most suitable option.
